If you are looking at homes in the Brooklyn area it can be a sometimes confusing process. Once you locate a home that you absolutely adore, then it is time to get serious, but before you get too serious you need to have a pre purchase home inspection conducted. No one wants to buy a home only to find out later that the home is ready to fall apart and is now going to be impossible to sell or is going to put you in financial ruins to get it repaired. Often people confuse the pre purchase home inspection with something similar to an insurance policy against future problems or needed repair and may even wonder why they should proceed with one if it isn't. No home inspector will be able to read the future and predict what could come up in future years. Plus you do have to consider that purchasing any home does come with some risk but no, the inspection does not give you any insurance or warranty but what it does give you is an evaluation of the house in its present condition so that you can make a wise buying decision.
